Tzatziki Dip

This traditional Greek condiment has so many different uses other than on the typical gyro. It is made with thick Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, mint and of course our olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The sauce is cool and tangy and extremely versatile. Pair it with a side of pita bread and you have a heavenly appetizer. Serve it on top of grilled chicken or fish. Mix together shredded cabbage, carrots, and chopped green onions with your homemade Tzatziki sauce for a healthier version of classic coleslaw. Makes a great dip for vegetables or French fries!

1/2 cup finely grated cucumber

1 cup thick whole milk Green yogurt

1 tablespoon Dill Olive Oil

1 garlic clove, grated

¼ teaspoon sea salt

1 tablespoon chopped mint, optional

Place the grated cucumber on a towel and gently squeeze out a bit of the excess water. In a medium bowl, combine the cucumber, yogurt, Cucumber Lemon White Balsamic, Fernleaf Dill Olive Oil, garlic, salt, and mint, if using. Chill until ready to use.
