At Joe and Son's Olive Oils, there’s only one thing we love more than olive oil and balsamic—CHEESE! We’ve designed our educational events to offer you a myriad of ways to get your cheese on.
Discover how easy it is to make fresh cheese right in your own kitchen by local cheesemaker, Jeramiah Taylor from Taylor Meats and Cheese. He has a true passion for the craft, as well as possess a deep understanding the process of transforming milk into one of life’s great food experiences. He takes great pride in passing on his knowledge to others with his simple and easy techniques.
With just a few tools, you can prepare homemade cheeses that taste superior to store-bought varieties. We’ll walk through the basics for making ricotta and mozzarella, then give you tips on how to make your own cheese tray for entertaining, and incorporate them into home cooked dishes.
Included in your ticket price is an Italian Cheese Making Kit (valued at $34.99) contains everything you need to make fresh mozzarella and ricotta in around an hour. It comes with a beautiful recipe booklet and there’s enough ingredients to make 10 batches. The kit has a shelf life of at least 12-18 months. Just add milk and you’re on your way…
